PASSE-PARTOUT CARDBOARD

Passe-partout cardboard is very important. A passe-partout not only ensures that there is space between the artwork and the glass, which protects the artwork from external influences, but it also embellishes your work of art by creating a spatial effect.

The passe-partouts that Quadro Lijstenmakerij uses are made of acid free (PH neutral) cellulose or of cotton linters that are naturally 100% acid free. The range of passe-partout carboard is immense. Not only is there a huge range of colours and materials, but there are also many ways in which the passe-partout can be finished. To mention just a few examples, a double passe-partout, a V groove, a sunken passe-partout, a French passe-partout, coloured piping or a floating passe-partout.
